Environmental Issues
In this lesson we will discuss 6 environmental issues we currently face due to human development, how we can monitor the impact we have on our environment and soloutions to how we can ressolve an issue.
Issue 2: Landfill sites
Methane is released from landfill sites, contributing to global warming. Landfill sites also release chemicals into the soil and can affect the surrounding environment. They also pose a more obvious threat to wildlife such as birds who may injure themselves looking through the rubbish or eat something toxic.
Solution
We can recycle our waste products so that materials are reused instead of adding to landfill sites.
